Wenn du einen neuen Controller für deinen GT1(D) oder GT2 gekauft hast, wirst du einen Fehler 40 bemerken. Das ist völlig normal, da der neue Controller keine Seriennummer gesetzt hat und daher diesen Fehler auslöst.
Zuerst solltest du den Scooter aus der originalen Ninebot-App entfernen.
Die Lösung ist ganz einfach: Lade dir die App M365Downg (für Android) herunter und gehe in die Einstellungen zur Seriennummer-Reparatur. Für die GT1-Serie verwendest du S1GCAxxxxCxxxx (wobei xxxxCxxxx der Teil deiner alten Seriennummer ist), und für die GT2-Serie verwendest du S1GTAxxxxCxxxx.
Starte den Scooter neu, nachdem du die Seriennummer gesetzt hast, öffne die Segway-App erneut und verbinde den Scooter mit deinem Konto. Wenn eine Frage zur Region kommt, wähle US oder China aus. Nun gehst du das gesamte Tutorial noch einmal durch und in den ersten 1,6 km (1 Meile) hat der Scooter eine begrenzte Geschwindigkeit. Lass ihn einfach im Leerlauf auf Cruisecontrol laufen.
Danach solltest du die gewünschte Geschwindigkeit haben und einen voll funktionsfähigen Controller. Du kannst Firmware-Updates problemlos durchführen. Beachte, dass die Schieberegler nur in der neuesten App/ Firmware verfügbar sind, dort kannst du dann die Geschwindigkeit begrenzen.

When you have bought a new controller for your GT1(D) or GT2 you will notice an Error 40.
This is very normal as the new controller has no serial number set and thus throws this error.
First unbind the scooter from the original Ninebot App.
The fix is very easy just download M365Downg (Android) and go to the repair serial settings.
For a GT1 series use S1GCAxxxxCxxxx (xxxxCxxxx will be the part of your old serial) and for the GT2 series use S1GTAxxxxCxxxx
Restart the scooter after setting the serial and open the Segway app again and bind the Scooter to your account.
When a question comes about a region select US or China.
Now you go trough the whole tutorial again and the first 1.6Km (1 Mile) the scooter has limited speed so just let it run on cruisecontrol freewheel in the air.
After that you should have the speed you want and a fully active controller.
You can do firmware updates without any issue and keep in mind the sliders will only be available in the latest app / firmware only there you can then limit the speed.
