I have a ninebot G30D S/N N4GEA1601C1122 useing Segway mobility app V6.9.8. My bike makes 15,2km/h on all three "gear" and I cant understand why. Is it possible that I have connected one of the 5 tiny hall cables wrong. I have two battery 1 which are a bit older and 1 which are new. I change between them but it does no differnce. I do not have the BMS cabel from battery to controller and get error code 21, but that should not mather for the speed? To the motor I have yellow brown and blue. From my motor come the 5 tiny hall cabels and a tiny brown which I do not know what it is , so it is not connected. I can measure about +5V pulsing from it.
please help if you have any suggestion. I have worked with this a long time without any result

Are you sure the serail number of your G30 is correct? Can't belive it had already been produced in 2016. As far as I know it was first produced in 2019. So check the serial number!

If you won't use the G30 in a country with a 20 km/h speed limit, like e.g. Denmark, Germany, Switzerland or Liechtenstein, you will not face any troubles with a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

Thank you. You are abolut right. This is a fake seriell number. I read some place that I had to change seriel number to reach 30km/h
 
You don't need a fake serial numer do use the settings for the 30 km/h region (so a G30P(ower))! You only have to change the original serial number to N4GS; no more, no less. You can't change the serial number with a looked controller and / or dashboard via BT. So unlock it; e.g. with help form the ninebot unlock bot on telegram. Otherwise you have to use a cable based connection and a ST link. The Scooter Hacking Utility (SHU) will be best for flashing, region change and so on. Use their compat versions or SHFW for the controller.

Error Code 21 says, the communication between BMS and controller is bad (or even not existing). So solve this problem. If you don't use the original or a compatible BMS for your battery, you have to use a software version for your controller that is suspressing all error codes.

I won't recommend usage of Segway / Ninebot app, which leads to unwanted software updates with versions locking your dashboard and controller. Best software versions without any locking are BLE 114 / DRV 171 / BMS 158 for a G30D/E/P.

This is greate help. In my controller there are room for a 4 pin plug for BMS. My batteries have BMS but no cabel for BMS to controller, so that`s the reason for 21. I have ordered a separat BMS but have not received it yet. Well Thank you I will try another app. But no I leaving for jobb very very far north and will be back in about 14 days.
