AUS DEM SHU DISCORD:
**Dear users,**
After many months, we are thrilled to announce the switch to a **public beta** for **ScooterHacking Utility V3**!
This new stage aims to bring the app to a broader audience, gather more general feedback, and smooth out the remaining rough edges.
**Warning:** This is still a *beta version*. It is not advertised as end-user ready. If things don’t work as they should, please be constructive and file a bug report on GitHub. You are joining with this understanding in mind. If you’re the type of user who wants a faster scooter just to complain in a non-productive manner, please refrain.
---
**This does NOT include SHFW for newer models.**
A few things waiting for you in this version:
- Support for Ninebot **G3 / F3 / GT3 / ZT3**
- A fully dynamic, model-oriented app with more available controls and better compatibility for both new and old vehicles
- **On-the-fly updates** for vehicle support: the app fetches the latest packages at launch. This means support for a new vehicle—or new controls for an existing one—can be added without an actual app update
- A single app now supports multiple SHFW versions. While only `3.10.1` is currently supported, this gives us greater flexibility and reduces overhead when deploying new versions or platform-specific builds (*wink wink*)
- **No more pairing every time you connect!** The app will automatically reconnect to your scooter
- Improved design and user experience
- A large backlog of bugs and known issues has been resolved
Many more details and great changes are built into this new app. When we reach the full release, a complete changelog will be provided.
---
**Caveats & FAQ:**
- Some deprecated functions have been removed due to major internal changes. These include:
- Legacy CFW Manager
- Automation
- German Maneuver
- Legacy firmware ZIP support
*Automation might return in a different form later. If you rely on any of these, the previous app will still be usable.*
- The **Ninebot E3** is not supported yet due to a lack of testers (*and time, to be honest*)
- The **Ninebot P-series** is also not supported yet for the same reasons
- **BLE flashing does not work** for Ninebot x3 vehicles
- **Yes, we know**: you can’t do much without flashing unlocked firmware first. For our integrity, this public announcement does *not* include instructions on how to remove stock restrictions. We’ll let the community work its usual magic here.
---
**Bug Reports:**
You can report bugs at: https://scooterhack.in/bugreport
Or create a debug dump from the top-right menu when connected to a scooter.
