Nobuo Nobuo: I did some extensive testing for you.
With a big surprise for me: I didn't get the highest current peaks during acceleration uphills as I always tested bevore but during accelaration on flat ground! Uphill it was always 2-3A less.

20A CFW: my dashboard shows 17A peak.
25A CFW: my dashboard shows 21A peak.
30A CFW: my dashboard shows 25A peak.

Nice job! this table is GOLD to help explain why they have 25A as default current on S mode on the Pro2. Now I'm curious about why the developers did not matched the CFW current with the "real" battery current reported by the stm32 MCU. Would be interesting to ask anyone that is involved on it, is there maybe someone here on the forum?
 
Maybe it has something to do with where the point of measurement is? Is the current measured directly at the entrance of the controller (battery current) or at the exit of the controller (motor current)? The controller has a degree of efficiency between 70-90% I guess. So if the CFW current would be battery current it would make perfect sense that if the measured current is motor current it is less because of losses in the controller.
My measurement shows that the "losses" are not linear but the higher the current the higher the "losses". 83-85% would be the degree of efficiency.

This is a very smart idea. There are just some small cons.

Mainly that the controller is more likely to be >90% efficient. 5A of difference between battery current and controller "DC equivalent" motor current output would be 5A * 40V = 200W of heat in the controller surface, what it could not be easily stand and would not match how its temperature almost not increase appreciably even some time at full power.

Secondary, to measure such levels of current with the hardware used on the controller, it needs a relatively big current shunt resistor for that purpose, usually installed next to the DC input port, and you can see in all the controller versions it is always near the XT30. So any possibility of current measurement is "before" the power losses.

Hi.

Bin NEU hier.... zuerst mal GROOOOSSES Lob für Eure super Arbeit...

Funktioniert super mit dem "scooterhackingtoolkit" und "aus und einschalten" der Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung mit der "GM App"....

Meine Fragen:

- wie funktioniert der Tempomat? Der schaltet sich doch normal automatisch ein oder?

- passen meine Parameter oder kann ich da noch was optimieren? Sh. Anhang

- wie aktiviere ich die Wegfahrsperre? Geht das ohne die "Originalapp" (die habe ich nämlich noch nie installiert)

Welchen Roller hast du denn? In deiner Beschreibung steht Denver?

Bei deiner testfahrt war der Akku voll?

Im allgemeinen passen deine Werte eigentlich. Eventuell kannst du den reifendruck noch erhöhen falls du das noch nicht geprüfte hast.

Wieviel schaft der Roller wenn der Reifen in der Luft ist?

- ups muss ich ändern ... hab ich verkauft und jetzt einen "Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2"
- blöde frage ... wenn ich den scooter "aufbocke" fängt das Teil nicht an zu laufen selbst wenn ich das Rad schnell genug drehe
